Section 214 of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act ( 25 U.S.C. 1621m ) is amended by adding at the end the following: There is authorized to be appropriated, and there is appropriated, out of any monies in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $60,000,000 for fiscal year 2025 and each fiscal year thereafter for epidemiology centers established under this section. The amount made available under paragraph
(1)for fiscal year 2026 and each fiscal year thereafter shall be adjusted annually to reflect the change in the medical care component of the consumer price index for all urban consumers (U.S. city average). . Section 214(e)(3) of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act ( 25 U.S.C. 1621m(e)(3) ) is amended by striking Public Law104–191 and inserting Public Law 104–291 .
