There is authorized to be appropriated $5,000,000 for fiscal year 2025 for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor of the Department of State to promote democracy, human rights, and civilian security in Hong Kong. The Secretary of State shall designate an office within the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor to administer and coordinate the provision of the funds described in subsection
(a)within the Department of State and across the United States Government.
