Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Chief Executive Officer of the United States Agency for Global Media shall establish, through the Voice of America, a service to provide Voice of America Mongolian language programming to Mongolian language speakers in Mongolia, the People’s Republic of China, and the Russian Federation. Not later than 270 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Chief Executive Officer of the United States Agency for Global Media shall submit to the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives a report detailing the implementation of this section, including a description of programming and broadcast hours.
There is authorized to be appropriated to the Voice of America for purposes of carrying out this section $2,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2025 and 2026.
