Section 361(a) ( 42 U.S.C. 3030m(a) ) is amended— by striking
(a)and inserting (a)(1) ; in the first sentence, by inserting after promotion services the following: , or, as applicable and appropriate, evidence-informed practices that are likely to improve health outcomes, ; and by striking the second sentence and inserting the following: In carrying out such program, the Assistant Secretary shall— provide technical assistance on the delivery of evidence-based disease prevention and health promotion services, and, as applicable and appropriate, such evidence-informed practices, in different settings and for different populations; develop, make publicly available, and update on a regular basis a list of such evidence-informed practices; and consult with the Directors of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institute on Aging. . Section 202 ( 42 U.S.C. 3012 ) is amended— in subsection (a)(28), by inserting after promotion services the following: , or, as applicable and appropriate, evidence-informed practices that are likely to improve health outcomes ; and in subsection (b)(9)(B), by inserting after services programs the following: , or, as applicable and appropriate, evidence-informed practices that are likely to improve health outcomes . Section 411(a) ( 42 U.S.C. 3032(a) ) is amended, in paragraphs
(15)and (16), by inserting or evidence-informed after evidence-based .
