Section 1154 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (e)(3)(C)— in clause (i), by striking 5,000 and inserting 3,000 ; and by striking clause
(iii)and redesignating clause
(iv)as clause (iii); and in subsection (k), by striking 2027 and inserting 2029 . Of the amounts authorized to be appropriated by this Act for fiscal year 2025 for operation and maintenance, Defense-wide, and available for the Office of the Secretary of Defense for travel expenses, not more than 50 percent may be obligated or expended until the date that is 15 days after the date on which the Secretary notifies the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives that the Department of Defense is in compliance with subsection
(b)of section 1154 of title 10, United States Code.
