Section 834(b) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 ( 10 U.S.C. 4061 note; Public Law 117–81 ) is amended— in paragraph (2)(A), by inserting or
(2)after paragraph
(1); by redesignating paragraph
(2)as paragraph (3); and by inserting after paragraph
(1)the following new paragraph (2): The issuance of not more than two solicitations for proposals by the Department of Defense in support of the pilot program each fiscal year with no restrictions on the types of businesses providing innovative technologies. .
