Sec. 440. Assessment of Maduro regime’s economic and security relationships with state sponsors of terrorism and foreign terrorist organizations

Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of National Intelligence shall submit to the congressional intelligence committees a written assessment of the economic and security relationships of the regime of Nicolás Maduro of Venezuela with the countries and organizations described in subsection (b), including formal and informal support to and from such countries and organizations. The countries and organizations described in this subsection are the following:
The following countries designated by the United States as state sponsors of terrorism: The Republic of Cuba. The Islamic Republic of Iran. The following organizations designated by the United States as foreign terrorist organizations: The National Liberation Army (ELN). The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia–People’s Army (FARC-EP). The Segunda Marquetalia. The assessment required by subsection
(a)shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex.
