Sec. 403. Intelligence sharing with law enforcement agencies on synthetic opioid precursor chemicals originating in People’s Republic of China

The Director of National Intelligence shall, in consultation with the head of the Office of National Security Intelligence of the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Under Secretary of Homeland Security for Intelligence and Analysis, and the heads of such other agencies as the Director considers appropriate, develop a strategy to ensure robust intelligence sharing relating to the illicit trafficking of synthetic opioid precursor chemicals from the People’s Republic of China and other source countries.
The Director shall develop a mechanism so that subject matter experts in elements of the Federal Government other than elements in the intelligence community, including those without security clearances, can share information with the intelligence community relating to illicit trafficking described in subsection (a).
