Not later than 30 days after the date on which the consultation under section 7 of the Endangered Species Act of 1973 ( 16 U.S.C. 1536 ) that was reinitiated by the Secretary for the operation of the Missouri River Mainstem Reservoir System, the operation and maintenance of the Bank Stabilization and Navigation Project, the operation of the Kansas River Reservoir System, and the implementation of the Missouri River Recovery Management Plan is completed, the Secretary shall brief the Committee on the Environment and Public Works of the Senate and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives on the outcomes of that consultation.
The briefing under subsection
(a)shall include a discussion of— any biological opinions that result from the consultation, including any actions that the Secretary is required to undertake pursuant to such biological opinions; and any forthcoming requests from the Secretary to Congress to provide funding in order carry out the actions described in paragraph (1).
