Section 594 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1999 (113 Stat. 382; 119 Stat. 2261; 121 Stat. 1140; 121 Stat. 1944; 136 Stat. 3821) is amended— in subsection (d)(3)(A)— by striking and inserting In general ; Project costs by striking The Federal share of and inserting the following: Except as provided in clause (iii), the Federal share of ; by striking The Federal share may and inserting the following: The Federal share may ; and by adding at the end the following: The non-Federal share of the cost of a project under this section benefitting an economically disadvantaged community (as defined by the Secretary under section 160 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2020 ( 33 U.S.C. 2201 note)) shall be 10 percent. ; and in subsection
(h)by striking $250,000,000 and inserting $300,000,000 .
