Section 274A of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1324a ) is amended— in subsection (a)(1)(B)— by striking subsection
(b)or
(ii)and inserting the following: “subsection (b); or ; and in clause (ii), by striking subsection (b). and inserting section 274E. ; and in subsection (b), in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking The requirements referred and inserting Except as provided in section 274E, the requirements referred . Section 274B(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a) ) is amended— in paragraph (1)(B), by striking in the case of a protected individual (as defined in paragraph (3)), ; by striking paragraph (3); and by inserting after paragraph
(2)the following: It is an unfair immigration-related employment practice for a person or other entity to misuse the verification system as described in section 274E(g). .
