Section 1111(g)(1) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 6311(g)(1) ) is amended— in subparagraph (F), by striking and at the end; by redesignating subparagraph
(G)as subparagraph (H); and by inserting after subparagraph
(F)the following: how the State educational agency will provide support to local educational agencies receiving assistance under this part in addressing and preventing the misuse of synthetic opioids, including fentanyl or any substituted derivative of fentanyl, among students; and .
