Subsection (d)(4)(D)(iv)(IV) of the Justice for United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Act ( 34 U.S.C. 20144(d)(4)(D)(iv)(IV) ) is amended— by redesignating item
(bb)as item (dd); by inserting after item
(aa)the following: There are authorized to be appropriated and there are appropriated to the Fund such sums as are necessary to make full and complete payments for amounts outstanding and unpaid on claims under subparagraphs
(B)and
(C)of subsection (c)(2), which shall be paid by the Fund on the claims not later than 30 days after the date of enactment of this item. Amounts appropriated pursuant to item
(bb)may not be used for a purpose other than to make payments under this clause. ; in item (cc), as so redesignated, by inserting item
(bb)or before subclauses ; and in item (aa), by striking disperses and inserting disburses .
