Section 175 (20 U.S.C. 9575), as redesignated by section 102, is amended to read as follows: The Director shall establish a system for managing the performance of all activities authorized under this title to ensure the effective use of Federal funds and that such activities meet the Institute’s mission, by— developing and utilizing measurable performance indicators, including reasonable timelines, to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of such activities and to inform applicable competitions for grants, contracts, or cooperative agreements under this title; ensuring information, statistics, products, and publications of the Institute are prepared in a timely manner and are widely disseminated to practitioners, education system leaders, and policymakers in formats that are high-quality, easily accessible, understandable, and actionable; utilizing the most modern technology and other methods available, including arrangements to use data collected electronically by public agencies across early childhood education through postsecondary study to ensure the efficient and least burdensome collection and timely distribution of information, including data and reports; promoting engagement with, wide dissemination of, and evidence use of all information, products, and publications of the Institute in a manner that is responsive to the educational challenges facing students, families, practitioners, and education system leaders; continuously improving management strategies and practices; and making information available to the public in an expeditious fashion. .
