Subpart I of part B of title XIX of the Public Health Service Act is amended— in section 1913(b)(1) ( 42 U.S.C. 300x–2(b)(1) ), by inserting , and which may include, at the discretion of the State, appropriate programs operated by for-profit entities after consumer-directed programs ; and in section 1916(a)(5) ( 42 U.S.C. 300x–5(a)(5) ), by inserting , or a for-profit entity selected by a State pursuant to section 1913(b)(1) before the period at the end.
