The Build Act of 2018 ( 22 U.S.C. 9601 et seq. ) is amended— in section 1402— by redesignating paragraphs (2), (3), and
(4)as paragraphs (3), (4), and (5), respectively; and by inserting after paragraph
(1)the following: The term fragile and conflict-affected state means a country that— is on the List of Fragile and Conflict-affected Situations maintained by the Fragility, Conflict and Violence Group of the World Bank; or the Corporation, after consultation with the Secretary of State and the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, designates as fragile or conflict-affected. ; and in section 1412(c), by striking paragraph
(2)and inserting the following: The Corporation may provide support under title II in a country that is— eligible to receive development lending from the World Bank; and a fragile and conflict-affected state. .
