The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development shall revise the regulations of the Secretary under subpart G of part 5 of title 24, Code of Federal Regulations (relating to physical condition standards and inspection requirements), as follows: In section 5.705, as amended by the final rule for National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (88 Fed. Reg. 30442), to provide that physical inspections are conducted annually without exception. To provide that, in carrying out uniform physical inspection requirements under an annual inspection, the Department of Housing and Urban Development shall ensure that any units in HUD housing that were not inspected during the previous two annual inspections shall be inspected during the next occurring annual inspection.
In carrying out uniform physical inspection requirements under an annual inspection, the Department of Housing and Urban Development shall ensure that any and all individual units requested to be inspected by tenants are included as part of the composite score of the property.
