Section 1473H of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 ( 7 U.S.C. 3319k ) is amended— in subsection (b)(2)— in subparagraph (C), by striking and at the end; in subparagraph (D), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: to advance technologies and methods relating to terrestrial and biological carbon dioxide removal (as defined in section 2 of the Carbon Dioxide Removal Research and Development Act of 2023 ). ; and in subsection (d), by adding at the end the following:
In addition to amounts otherwise made available under this subsection, there are authorized to be appropriated to carry out subsection (b)(2)(E), $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2024 through 2033, to remain available until expended. .
