The Secretary of the Interior or the Secretary of Agriculture, may waive, in whole or in part, the non-Federal cost sharing requirement of any appropriate conservation project under section 212(a)(1) of the Public Lands Corps Act ( 16 U.S.C. 1729(a)(1) ): That in the event of such a waiver, the Secretary of the Interior or the Secretary of Agriculture, as appropriate, is authorized to pay up to 100 percent of the costs of the appropriate conservation project.
