In this Act: The term amounts appropriated or otherwise made available for military, economic, or humanitarian aid for Ukraine means amounts appropriated or otherwise made available for any fiscal year— for the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative; for Foreign Military Financing funding for Ukraine; under titles III and VI of the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act (division N of Public Law 117–103 ); under the Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022 ( Public Law 117–128 ); and for military, economic, or humanitarian aid for Ukraine under any other provision of law.
The term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate ; the Committee on Armed Services of the Senate ; the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate ; the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives ; the Committee on Armed Services of the House of Representatives ; the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives ; and the Committee on Oversight and Accountability of the House of Representatives .
The term Office means the Office of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction and Ukraine Aid renamed under section 4(a). The term Special Inspector General means the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction and Ukraine Aid renamed under section 4(b).
