Section 38(j)(1) of the Arms Export Control Act ( 22 U.S.C. 2778(j)(1) ) is amended— in subparagraph (B)— in the subsection heading, by inserting after , the United Kingdom, and Australia ; and Canada by inserting , the United Kingdom, or Australia after Canada ; and in subparagraph (C)— by striking and all that follows through treaties .—
(i)and inserting In general .—The requirement ; treaties .—The requirement by striking clause (ii); and by redesignating subclauses

(ii)and moving such clauses, as so redesignated, two ems to the left.
