Section 222 of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1202 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, any requirement under this Act to communicate with visa applicant by standard mail shall be satisfied if an electronic communication is sent to the applicant at an electronic mail address provided by the applicant in connection with the pending application. .
