Nothing in this Act shall prevent a program that is an eligible program as of the date of enactment of the Empowering Learners through Competency-Based Education Act , including an eligible program that met the requirements of a direct-assessment program under section 481(b)(4) (as in effect the day before the date of enactment of this Act), from continuing to be an eligible program during the period that such program meets the requirements under the Higher Education of Act 1965.
