Section 4 of the Department of Housing and Urban Development Act ( 42 U.S.C. 3533 ) is amended— in subsection (a)(1), by striking 7 Assistant Secretaries and inserting 8 Assistant Secretaries ; and by adding at the end the following new subsection: There is established, in the Department, the Office of Native American Programs. The head of the Office of Native American Programs shall be one of the Assistant Secretaries appointed pursuant to subsection (a)(1). . Section 5315 of title 5, United States Code is amended, in the item relating to Assistant Secretaries of Housing and Urban Development, by striking
