Title VI of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 ( 50 U.S.C. 1871 et seq. ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Beginning with the first calendar year that begins after the effective date of this section, by not later than June 30th of that year and each year thereafter, the Inspector General of the Department of Justice shall conduct an audit on alleged violations and failures to comply with the requirements of this Act and any procedures established pursuant to this Act, and submit a report thereon to the congressional intelligence committees and the Committees on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives and of the Senate. .
