Notwithstanding any other provision of law, an alien from a foreign adversary country as defined in 47 U.S.C. 1607(c)(2) may not be admitted as a nonimmigrant under section 101(a)(15)(H)(i)(b) or section 101(a)(15)(H)(iii) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(15)(H)(i)(b) ; 1101(a)(1)(H)(iii)) for employment in any matter with respect to the vital national interest.
