Section 241 of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1231 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Any alien with a pending application under clause

(i)or

(ii)of section 101(a)(15)(T), clause

(i)or

(ii)of section 101(a)(15)(U), section 101(a)(51), section 240A(b)(2), or section 244(a)(3) (as in effect on March 31, 1997), or a pending or approved petition under (101)(a)(27)(J), shall not be ordered removed under this section. .
