Section 3252 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (b)— by amending paragraph
(1)to read as follows: consulting with procurement or other relevant officials of the covered agency; ; in paragraph (2), by striking with the concurrence of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, ; and in paragraph (3)— by amending subparagraph
(A)to read as follows: a summary of the risk assessment that serves as the basis for the written determination required by paragraph (2); and ; by striking subparagraphs
(B)and (C); and by redesignating subparagraph
(D)as subparagraph (B); by striking subsection (c); and by redesignating subsections
(d)and
(e)as subsections
(c)and (d), respectively.
