Section 6406(d) of the Department of State Authorization Act of 2023 (division F of Public Law 118–31 ; 22 U.S.C. 5811 note) is amended to read as follows: The position of Special Envoy— shall only exist while United States diplomatic operations in Belarus at the United States Embassy in Minsk, Belarus are suspended; and shall oversee the operations and personnel of the Belarus Affairs Unit. .
