Section 1104 of the National Security Act of 1947 ( 50 U.S.C. 3234 ) is amended— in subsection (b)(1), by inserting or covered intelligence community element after the appropriate inspector general of the employing agency ; and in subsection (c)(1)(A), by inserting or covered intelligence community element after the appropriate inspector general of the employing or contracting agency .
