Section 2484 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: The Secretary of Defense shall prohibit the sale at any commissary store of fresh or chilled garlic— classified under subheading 0703.20.00 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States; and that originated from, or was processed in, the People’s Republic of China. . The amendment made by subsection
(a)shall take effect on January 1, 2026.
