Section 552(b)(4) of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 ( Public Law 115–232 ) is amended— in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking 4 years and inserting seven years ; in subparagraph (B), by inserting , disaggregated by whether such attendance was in person or remote after counseling ; by redesignating subparagraphs
(F)through
(I)as subparagraphs
(I)through (L), respectively; and by inserting, after subparagraph (E), the following new subparagraphs: The total number of members who did not attend Transition Assistance Program counseling due to operational requirements. If the information described in subparagraph
(F)is unavailable, processes the Secretary is implementing to collect such information. An assessment of challenges to attending Transition Assistance Program counseling in person. .
