Section 1154 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (e)(3)(C)— in clause (i), by striking 5,000 and inserting 3,000 ; and by striking clause
(iii)and redesignating clause
(iv)as clause (iii); and in subsection (k), by striking 2027 and inserting 2029 .
