Section 1080(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 10 U.S.C. 111 note) does not apply to the report required to be submitted to Congress under section 1343(a) of the Department of Defense Cooperative Threat Reduction Act ( 50 U.S.C. 3743(a) ). Section 1061(d) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 ( Public Law 114–328 ; 10 U.S.C. 111 note) is amended by striking paragraph (14). Section 1343(a) of the Department of Defense Cooperative Threat Reduction Act ( 50 U.S.C. 3743(a) ) is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: The requirement to submit the report under subsection
(a)shall terminate on January 1, 2030. .
