Section 1644 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 ( Public Law 118–31 ; 137 Stat. 598) is amended by adding at the end the following subsection: Beginning not later than March 1, 2025, and not later than each of March 1 and September 1 annually thereafter, the Secretary of the Air Force shall provide to the congressional defense committees a briefing on the progress of the modernization effort described in subsection (a). .
