Section 1212 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 ( 10 U.S.C. 311 note) is amended— in subsection (b), by striking December 31, 2025 and inserting December 31, 2027 ; in subsection (d)— by striking 2025 and inserting 2027 ; by striking $10,000,000 and inserting $15,000,000 ; and by striking , which shall be allocated in accordance with the priorities of the commanders of the geographic combatant commands ; by redesignating subsections

(g)as subsections
(f)through (h), respectively; by inserting after subsection
(d)the following new subsection: In providing security cooperation for the purposes described in section (c)(1), the Secretary shall prioritize efforts based on— the priorities of the commanders of the geographic combatant commands; the operational relevance of the effort; the need of the foreign partner; and programs in less developed countries. ; and in subsection (g), as so redesignated, by striking 2025 and inserting 2027 .
