Sec. 1114. Continuity of coverage under certain provisions of title 5, United States Code

Section 6323 of title 5, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a)(1), by striking as a Reserve of the armed forces or member of the National Guard and inserting as a Reserve of the armed forces, a member of the National Guard, or a member of the Space Force in space force active status (as defined in section 101(e)(1) of title 10) and not on sustained duty under section 20105 of title 10 ; and in subsection (b)(1), by inserting before the semicolon at the end the following: or is a member of the Space Force in space force active status (as defined in section 101(e)(1) of title 10) and not on sustained duty under section 20105 of title 10 .
The heading of such section is amended to read as follows: . The item relating to such section in the table of sections at the beginning of chapter 63 of such title is amended to read as follows: “6323. Military leave: Reserves, National Guard members, and certain members of the Space Force.”.
