Sec. 1091. Prioritization of accreditation of sensitive compartmented information facilities supporting DX-rated programs

Not later than 270 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall develop a framework for prioritized review and accreditation and reaccreditations of sensitive compartmented information facilities and classified communications networks at facilities that are not located on a Department of Defense installation or facility. It is the sense of Congress that, in developing the framework under subsection (a), the Secretary should take into consideration the accreditation or reaccreditation of facilities and networks that would support programs that are rated DX pursuant to section 700.11 of title 15, Code of Federal Regulations, or successor regulations.
Not later than 270 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit to the congressional defense committees the framework developed under subsection (a).
