It is the sense of Congress that Congress— recognizes the importance of developing, licensing, and deploying innovative nuclear energy technology, such as advanced nuclear reactors; acknowledges the vast deployment potential of advanced nuclear technology over the next several decades; understands the immensely beneficial impact of building and deploying advanced nuclear reactors; and seeks to provide Federal support in promoting the use of nuclear energy throughout the United States.
