Section 306(a)(4) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 ( 52 U.S.C. 30106(a)(4) ) is amended by striking equivalent to the compensation paid at level IV of the Executive Schedule ( and inserting 5 U.S.C. 5315 ) at an annual rate of basic pay of $186,300, as adjusted under section 5318 of title 5, United States Code, in the same manner as the annual rate of pay for positions at each level of the Executive Schedule .
