Subsection

(b)of section 1341 of the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 ( 42 U.S.C. 4072 ), as added by section 404(c), is amended by adding at the end the following: If a claimant institutes an action under this section— the Administrator shall refer the matter to the Attorney General; and the Attorney General— shall represent the Administrator or the Write Your Own company, as applicable, in the action; and may not seek to have the court dismiss an action with potentially meritorious claims based on good faith errors or omissions by the claimant in the claimant's proof of loss. .
