The Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall prioritize engagement with the International Civil Aviation Organization and contribute to or lead the development of international standards and recommended practices to improve aviation safety and support the entry-into-service of new forms of aviation. In carrying out subsection (a), the Administrator shall contribute to or lead International Civil Aviation Organization efforts with respect to the development of landing and take-off noise standards for supersonic aircraft.
