Sec. 255. Exemption of fees for air traffic services

Chapter 453 of title 49, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: The Administrator shall provide or ensure the provisioning of air traffic services and aviation safety support for large, multiday aviation events, including airshows and fly-ins, where the average daily number of manned operations were 1,000 or greater in at least 1 of the preceding 3 years, without the imposition or collection of any fee, tax, or other charge for that purpose. Amounts for the provision of such services and support shall be derived from amounts appropriated or otherwise available for the Administration.
In determining the services and support to be provided for an aviation event for purposes of subsection (a), the Administrator shall take into account the following: The services and support required to meet levels of activity at prior events, if any, similar to the event. The anticipated need for services and support at the event. . The analysis of chapter 453 of title 49, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: Sec. 45307. Exemption of fees for air traffic services. .
Section 530 of the FAA Reauthorization of 2018 ( 49 U.S.C. 40103 note), and the item relating to that section in the table of contents in section 1(b) of such Act, are repealed.
