The Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall designate an executive of the Administration to serve as the lead for the cybersecurity of Administration systems and hardware (hereinafter referred to as the Cybersecurity Lead ). The Cybersecurity Lead shall carry out duties and powers prescribed by the Administrator, including the management of activities required under subtitle B of title VI of the Securing Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation Act .
Not later than 1 and 3 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Cybersecurity Lead shall provide a briefing to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate on the implementation of subtitle B of title VI of the Securing Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation Act .
