Sec. 419. Limitation on availability of funds for Federal Bureau of Investigation pending submission of information regarding certain media engagements

Congress finds that the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation has previously agreed to provide the information specified in subsection (b). Of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act or otherwise made available under the National Intelligence Program for fiscal year 2024 for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, not more than 98 percent may be obligated or expended until the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation submits to the congressional intelligence committees a list of media backgrounders conducted by personnel of the Federal Bureau of Investigation relating to the 2020 election for President or foreign malign influence in the lead up to such election, the dates of such engagements, and the persons with whom such engagements were held.
In this section, the term National Intelligence Program has the meaning given that term in section 3 of the National Security Act of 1947 ( 50 U.S.C. 3003 ).
