In accordance with this Act, there shall be transferred to the Secretary of the Treasury the functions, personnel, assets, and obligations of the United States Secret Service, including the functions of the Secretary of Homeland Security relating thereto. The United States Secret Service shall be maintained as a distinct entity within the Department of the Treasury.
