Section 4405 of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 ( 7 U.S.C. 7517 ) is amended— in subsection (b)(2)(B)— by redesignating clauses
(ix)and
(x)as clauses
(x)and (xi); and by inserting after clause
(viii)the following: increase year-round availability of incentives by offering fresh frozen fruits or vegetables; ; and in subsection (c), by striking fresh fruits and vegetables and inserting fresh or fresh frozen fruits, vegetables, and legumes each place it appears. The amendments made by this section shall take effect on March 6, 2024.
