In this section: The term Federal land means the approximately 2,495 acres of Federal land, as generally depicted on the Map. The term Map means the map entitled Section 702 Water Infrastructure Conveyances for Public Purposes and dated December 3, 2020. As soon as practicable after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall prepare a final legal description of the Federal land to be conveyed under subsection (b). The Secretary may correct any minor errors in the Map or the legal description prepared under paragraph (1). The Map and the legal description prepared under paragraph

(b)ceases to be used for the public purpose for which the Federal land was conveyed, as described in subsection (b), the Federal land shall revert to the United States, at the discretion of the Secretary, if the Secretary determines that reversion is in the best interest of the United States. If the Secretary determines under paragraph
(1)that the Federal land should revert to the United States and that the Federal land is contaminated with hazardous waste, the public water agency shall be responsible for remediation of the contamination of the Federal land.
