Sec. 228. Funding for multifamily technical improvements

There is authorized to be appropriated to the Department of Agriculture $50,000,000 for fiscal year 2023, which shall be used to improve the technology of the Department of Agriculture that is used to process loans for multifamily housing and otherwise managing such housing. The improvements authorized under subsection
(a)shall be made during the 5-year period beginning upon the date that the amounts appropriated under such subsection are available. Such amounts shall remain available until the last day of such 5-year period.
