Section 1905(b) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1396d(b) ) is amended, in the third sentence, by striking for the 8 fiscal year quarters beginning with the first fiscal year quarter beginning after the date of the enactment of the and inserting American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 for each fiscal quarter beginning on or after April 1, 2021 .
